The equipment we need includes a pc, a windows xp cd with serial key and lan connection  details to carry out the upgrades.

Android, IOS or Windows presentation

19th Nov 2013

Android, IOS or Windows

I choose to talk about mobile operating systems, identify some of their features, there look and feel and customisation option. The Three OS I choose to talk about was Google Android, Apple IOS and Microsoft windows. I feel that I started the presentation well although I was slightly nervous, I did manage to go through all three OS in those 2 min.

I think my biggest strength in the presentation was my knowledge about those three OS, you couldn’t get through everything in 2min but I managed to point out key differences. What I did wrong in that presentation was using “AAA…umm…” during the talk, however I managed to use my body language and kept my hands out of the pockets. This was an improvement in my presentational skills as I used to put my hands in pocket when presenting.

Overall I think I managed the presentation well and used body language I may need to work on my pauses and try to be more confident in my presentations but overall it was my best presentation.

Interpersonal communication skills

we had to work in a group today and discuss a topic and record our conversation luckly it went well but its now over know we have to listen and write a script of the discussion. our topic was about games whether they're good or bad and in what ways.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Planning

Games

Positive things
Educational games
·  It develops interactive skills
Hand eye coordination is developed when playing computer games which may require a guitar or generally a pad which is used to press buttons which is connected to the computer console.
·   Develops communication skills
Games such as Sing star use a microphone to talk through and you follow the words with your eyes and sing the words as they appear on screen in order.
·  Broadens your imagination
Fantasy games such as World of Warcraft and Grand theft auto V are all open world games. Custom maps are made to suit the games for the user’s needs.
Negative things
· Develops addiction
Games are generally time consuming due to the amount of effort you need to put into them to get something out of them. Making up excuses when children playing games can lead to going out of a routine which could mean getting out of a bed in morning could be a problem and creates a sense of laziness.
· Confusion between Reality and virtual imagination
Playing any computer game extensively could develop a disturbance for a sense of time.
· Eye strain could be caused if you play a computer game for lots of time. Eye strain could lead to the usage of glasses in the later future.

Computer games are known to have controlled the minds of people and have lead them to kill other people in reality. This is all linked to the topic of confusion between reality and virtual imagination
